Company Proteh developed and patented technology for the production of underwater window inserts using mineral glass. GlassDeep® technology replaces the previously used acrylic glass with many times harder (and thus abrasion resistant) mineral glass, which meets the required strength parameters przy with twice as much the thickness of the insert.

Using GlassDeep® technology, it is possible to produce windows up to 2 x 4 metres in size, withstanding water pressure at a depth of up to 15 metres.

Less weight

Compared to acrylic glass, a mineral glass underwater window can be up to half the thickness while maintaining its strength.

Safety

The multilayer construction of mineral glass pane protects the room even after some layers of window are damaged

Abrasion resistance

Mineral glass is many times more resistant to abrasion - the window does not get tarnished even with long use and mechanical cleaning
