W dniach od 25 do 28 lutego 2023 roku firma Proteh Glassdeep Sp. z o.o. zorganizowała misję gospodarczą do Królestwa Arabii Saudyjskiej, dzięki uczestnictwie w projekcie „CNA – CZAS NA AFRYKĘ! Budowa mocnej pozycji Klastra oraz członków Klastra na rynkach Afryki” dofinansowanego z środków Europejskiego Funduszu Rozwoju Regionalnego w ramach Programu Operacyjnego Inteligentny Rozwój na lata 2014-2020, nr projektu POIR.02.03.02-22-0004/19.Podstawowym celem misji było nawiązanie kontaktów z potencjalnymi partnerami zainteresowanymi współpracą przy realizacji katamaranu do obserwacji podwodnych – Hybrid Underwater Observer oraz instalacją okien podwodnych z systemem ochrony w produkowanych jednostkach pływających, w tym jachtów i łodzi luksusowych. Podczas misji firma odbyła wiele spotkań, nawiązując szereg kontaktów umożliwiających lepsze poznanie rynku Arabii Saudyjskiej. Mieliśmy przyjemność spędzić wiele czasu w King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, gdzie podczas spotkań mogliśmy wymienić swoje doświadczenia oraz ustalić dalsze wspólne działania. Kluczowe dla budowania marki Glassdeep na tym rynku było też podtrzymanie już zbudowanych relacji, nawiązanych podczas wizyty w sierpniu 2022 roku. Z pewnością będziemy kontynuować dalsze działania na tym rynku i dziękujemy naszym partnerom za wsparcie oraz pomoc.

Cruise Ship Interiors Expo Europe 2022 30.11-01.12.2022

From 30th November– 1st December 2022, Proteh Glassdeep Sp. z o.o. thanks to participation in the project "Export Accelerator AKE” co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Intelligent Development Operational Program for 2014-2020, project no. POIR 02.03.03-22-0001/18, took part as an exhibitor in the fairs dedicated to the cruise ship industry organized in London -Cruise Ship Interiors Expo Europe 2022”. 

Cruise Ship Interiors Expo Europe (CSIE) caters exclusively to the European cruise interior design industry. CSIE provides a gateway for the cruise interiors supply chain to meet with Europe’s most esteemed cruise lines, designers, and shipyards working on major refurbishment and newbuild projects. Taking place at London’s ExCeL, the highly focused exhibition and conference is the place to be if you work in the industry.

The subject of the promotion was a specially designed Glassdeep solution in the form of an underwater block for observation, which can be used in cruise ships of any scale.

Our products in the field of underwater observation were extremely popular among fair participants. During the fair, the Company's representatives held a series of B2B meetings with potential partners and market leaders, from cruise lines, shipyards, and design offices. Participation in the fair enabled the company to gain new contacts and learn about the specifics of the industry and the expectations of potential business partners.

Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2022 24.11-27.11.2022

From 24th – 27th November 2022, Proteh Glassdeep Sp. z o.o. thanks to participation in the project "CNA - TIME FOR AFRICA! Building a strong position of the Cluster and Cluster members on African markets” co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Intelligent Development Operational Program for 2014-2020, project no. POIR.02.03.02-22-0004/19, took part as an exhibitor in the luxury yacht fairs organized in Abu Dhabi, UAE -Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2022”.

The subject of the promotion was an innovative catamaran for underwater observation and other company solutions in the field of underwater observation. Our products, which are the result of R&D works, were extremely popular among visitors. During the fair, the Company's representatives held a series of B2B meetings with potential partners and investors interested in cooperation and introducing our products to the GCC market. 

Participation in the fair enabled the company to gain new contacts on the UAE market and to deepen the already built relationships with key partners in the region, as well as further build the Glassdeep brand on the market.

Economic mission for the SMM Hamburg 2022 06.09-09.09.2022

From 6th to 9th September 2022, Proteh Glassdeep Sp. z o.o. organized an economic mission to Germany for the SMM Hamburg fair, thanks to participation in the project "Export Accelerator AKE", co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Intelligent Development Operational Program for 2014-2020, project no. POIR 02.03.03-22-0001/18.

The SMM fair is the key and largest fair of shipbuilding, machinery and marine technology. The main goal of the mission was to establish contacts with leaders in the maritime industry, to whom we presented Glassdeep solutions in the field of underwater observation, including underwater windows with a protective cover. During the mission, the company held many meetings, establishing relations with European shipyards and design offices.

Additionally, participation in the mission allowed us to recognize the market, exchange experiences and learn about the needs of the industry in the field of underwater technologies.

Economic mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 14.08-19.08.2022

From 14th to 19th August 2022, Proteh Glassdeep Sp. z o.o. organized an economic mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), thanks to participation in the project "UAE - Export Support for members of the LTPP Cluster on the Arab Emirates market", co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Intelligent Development Operational Program for 2014-2020, project no. POIR.02.03.02-22-0001/19.

The main goal of the mission was to establish contacts with potential partners interested in cooperation in the implementation of the Hybrid Underwater Observer and the installation of underwater windows with a protection system in their vessels, including yachts and luxury boats. During the mission, the company held many meetings and established relationships with the largest shipyards in the KSA and companies from the maritime industry.

Meetings with representatives of giga-projects implemented in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as the largest private economic zone - King Abdullah Economic City and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology were key to building the Glassdeep brand on the market.

Additionally, participation in the mission allowed us to recognize the market, exchange experiences and learn about the region's needs in the field of underwater technologies.

AKE Project - Participation in Fairs and Foreign Missions – 29.06.2022

Proteh Glassdeep Sp. z o.o. participates in the project "Export Accelerator AKE”, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Intelligent Development Operational Program for 2014-2020, project no. POIR 02.03.03-22-0001/18-00.

The value of the project is 4 786 073,02 PLN. Co-financing amount: 3 639 085,20 PLN.

The project is implemented by the by the "North - South" Logistics and Transport Cluster (LTPP Cluster) - an organization associating entrepreneurs, scientists and local governments, having the status of a Key National Cluster.

The aim of the project is the professional internationalization of Polish companies associated within the LTPP Cluster, through the effective introduction of their product and service offer to key foreign markets.

Economic mission to the United Arab Emirates 29.05-03.06.2022

From 29th May to 3rd June 2022, Proteh Glassdeep Sp. z o.o. organized an economic mission to the United Arab Emirates, thanks to participation in the project "UAE - Export Support for members of the LTPP Cluster on the Arab Emirates market", co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Intelligent Development Operational Program for 2014-2020, project no. POIR.02.03.02-22-0001/19. The partner and organizer of most of the meetings was MK Business Link, which is a company supporting business relations between Europe and the Middle East.

The main goal of the mission was to establish contacts with potential partners interested in cooperation in the implementation of the Hybrid Underwater Observer and the installation of underwater windows with a protection system in their vessels, including yachts and luxury boats. Additionally, thanks to the implementation of the foreign mission, the already established relations were maintained and the details of further cooperation and joint projects were discussed. During the mission, the company held many meetings and established relationships with the largest shipyards in the UAE.

In addition, participation in the mission allowed us for further market recognition, exchange of experiences and learning about the needs of representatives of the maritime industry in the field of underwater technologies.

From 9th March – 13th March 2022, Proteh Glassdeep Sp. z o.o. thanks to participation in the project "Pomeranian Export Broker. A comprehensive export support system in the Pomeranian Voivodeship", implemented under the Perskie Voivodeship Regional Operational Programme for 2014-2020, took part as an exhibitor in the luxury hotel fairs organized in Dubai, UAE - " Dubai International Boat Show 2022 "Dubai International Boat Show 2022The subject of the promotion was an innovative catamaran unit for underwater observation and an underwater window with a protection system. Our products, which are the result of R&D works, were extremely popular among visitors. During the fair, the Company's representatives held a series of B2B meetings with potential partners and investors interested in cooperation and introducing our products to the GCC market. Participation in the fair allowed the company to gain new contacts on the UAE market, sustaining the talks started in 2021 and continued in 2022, as well as learning about the specificity of the yachting industry in the region and the expectations of new business partners.

From January 30 to February 3, 2022, Proteh Glassdeep Sp. z o.o. organized an economic mission to the United Arab Emirates, thanks to participation in the project "UAE - Export Support for members of the LTPP Cluster on the Arab Emirates market", co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Intelligent Development Operational Program for 2014-2020, project no. POIR.02.03.02-22-0001/19. Our partner and organizer of the meetings was MK Business Link, which is a company supporting business relations between Europe and the Middle East.

The main goal of the mission was to establish contacts with potential partners interested in cooperation in the implementation of the Hybrid Underwater Observer and the installation of underwater windows with a protection system in their vessels, including yachts and luxury boats. During the mission, the company held over ten key meetings, establishing relations with the most important shipyards in the UAE.

In addition, participation in the mission allowed us for further market recognition, exchange of experiences and learning about the needs of representatives of the maritime industry in the field of underwater technologies.

Economic mission at Seatrade Maritime Middle East 13-15.12.2021

From 13 to 15 December 2021, Proteh Glassdeep Sp. z o.o. organized an economic mission to Dubai / UAE, which took place during Seatrade Maritime Middle East 2021. The main goal of the mission was to establish contacts with potential partners interested in cooperation in the implementation of a catamaran for underwater observation – Hybrid Underwater Observer. After over three years, December 2021 marked the return of #STMME, which provides maritime suppliers with a key opportunity to meet with ship owners, operators and managers. This year's exhibitor directory was packed with a diverse range of suppliers, including shipyards and potential customers of our underwater windows.

In addition, participation in the mission allowed us to the further exploration of the market, share experiences with events participants and the presentation of underwater windows and a Hybrid Underwater Observer during organized B2B meetings.

Information about Completion of the “Underwater window” Project – 31.10.2021

Proteh Glassdeep Sp. z o.o. informs that we have completed the fourth stage of the implementation of the project no. POIR.01.01.01-00-0778/17, and thus the entire "Underwater Windows" project implemented under the EU funding granted by the National Center for Research and Development. 

Stage IV included activities related to testing underwater window prototypes in conditions like real ones in terms of the parameters of the market form of the offered technology, as well as its testing and simulations to develop the final technological documentation of the product.

The tests were conducted based on the requirements set out in stages 1, 2 and 3. In addition, the research work was conducted based on the technology qualification plan obtained from the DNV. 

All tasks have been successfully completed, therefore, as a result of the project, the Company has developed innovative products in the form of underwater windows with mineral glass for marine applications.

Presentation at the 21st International Maritime Fair and Conferences BALTEXPO
– 07.09.2021

On September 7, 2021, Proteh Glassdeep Sp. z o.o. organized an event during the XXI International Maritime Fair and Conferences BALTEXPO 2021 entitled "New development directions of the maritime sector, based on the example of the Glassdeep underwater observation catamaran and the Glassdeep underwater window with a protection system."

The aim of the presentation was to disseminate at the national and international level the results of industrial research and development works of both EU projects implemented by Proteh Glassdeep:

Information about Completion of the INNOship Project
– 29.05.2021

Proteh Glassdeep Sp. z o.o. informs that we have completed the third stage of the implementation of the project no. POIR.01.02.00-00-0013 /18, and thus the entire INNOship project implemented under the EU funding granted by the National Center for Research and Development. 

Stage III included activities related to the verification of the functioning of the underwater window protection system using tight side covers on the prototype in a 1: 1 scale in conditions like the conditions of real use. During the tests, a prototype with a window and a hermetic cover in the scale of 1: 1 was made and durability tests were conducted by performing 1000 cycles of opening and closing the window cover. As a result of the development work, we have developed rules of proper operation of the entire system, dedicated for use in vessels, including our luxury catamaran designed for underwater observation.

As a result of the INNOship project, the company has developed innovative products in the form of a catamaran and an underwater window protection system for marine applications.

Granting the ISO 9001: 2015 certificate by DNV GL

According to the received DNV GL certificate, the management system of Proteh Glassdeep Sp. z o.o. meets the requirements of the Quality Management System standard: ISO 9001: 2015.

Information on the Completion of Stage II of the INNOship Project
– 31.12.2020

Proteh Glassdeep Sp. z o.o. informs that has completed the third stage of the project no. POIR.01.01.01-00-0778/17, which included destruction tests of 1: 1 scale models of underwater windows in two variants, preparation of the final design documentation for window prototypes and the development of a detailed technology qualification procedure for the windows. 

The research work was carried out in cooperation with the Gdansk University of Technology, Faculty of Ocean Engineering and Ship Technology and DNV GL.

Information on the Completion of Stage II of the INNOship Project
– 31.10.2020

Proteh Glassdeep Sp. z o.o. informs that has completed the second stage of the implementation of the project no. POIR.01.02.00-00-0013/18 which included development and verification of an innovative underwater window protection system with tight side covers and carrying out a series of numerical analyzes of the catamaran hull and tests on the made models.

The research work was carried out in cooperation with Maritime Advanced Research Centre SA.

Verification tests of the underwater window protection system
– 10.2020

In October 2020, in a specially prepared model pool at Maritime Advanced Research Centre SA there were tests of the 1: 1 scale model of the side cover, which is an element of the underwater window protection system developed by the Company. The tests ended positively, which will enable the implementation of the next stage of the project no. POIR.01.02.00-00-0013/18, which will include the creation of a prototype of the product in the 1: 1 scale and its testing at the Company's headquarters.

Inauguration of the test stand for underwater windows research
– 18.05.2020

Today, was held the official inauguration of the underwater window test stand for underwater windows research. The test stand for pressure tests will enable the Company to carry out the destruction tests of window models and prototypes as part of the project no. POIR.01.01.01-00-0778/17.

Threat Assessment Workshops at DNV GL HAMBURG
– 23-24.10.2019

Proteh Glassdeep Sp. z o.o. together with representatives of the Gdansk University of Technology, the Faculty of Ocean Engineering and Shipbuilding participated in analytical work in the field of Threat Assessment at DNV GL in Hamburg, which was carried out under the project no. POIR.01.01.01-00-0778/17. The conducted FMECA workshops allowed for the assessment of threats and risks for the Glassdeep underwater window application offered in two variants.
